Our Story
I've spent the better part of 16 years working with destination marketing teams around the world. One thing I've noticed is that the way these teams work is changing fast. AI is reshaping what's possible, but most teams are still stuck with disconnected tools, limited resources, and expectations that keep growing. They're not struggling because they lack talent. They're struggling because the landscape is moving quicker than their tools and processes can keep up with.
My brother Josh and I started building Swix AI from our homes in Arizona, working nights, weekends, and pretty much any free moment we had. Josh is a developer who's spent his 25-year career building scalable systems. I came from the marketing side, working with DMOs at Simpleview as VP of Strategy & Insights, and hosting over 200 episodes of The Layover Live, an award-winning digital marketing podcast focused on DMOs. We saw the same problems from two very different angles, and that's probably what made us think we could create something that actually helps.
What we didn't want to build was another generic AI tool that destination teams would have to figure out on their own. So we built Swix AI specifically for DMOs and destination marketing agencies. AI teammates modeled after real roles on your team, intelligent agents, and AI workflows that range from simple one-click actions to more advanced automations. The goal is pretty simple: help teams work with more clarity, speed, and confidence, so they can spend less time managing tech, and more time focused on the work that actually matters.

Our Mission
We believe destination marketing teams deserve AI that's built for how they actually work, not generic tools that require endless customization or technical expertise.
Swix AI exists to make AI practical, approachable, and purpose-built for the unique challenges of tourism and marketing. We want to give every DMO access to enterprise-grade AI capabilities, regardless of team size or technical resources, so teams can spend less time figuring out tools and more time focused on creativity, strategy, and impact.
Beyond the platform, we're building a community around shared learning, with a growing marketplace of agents and workflows that helps teams adopt AI in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and trusted.
